"Needs something more" ***

I like the idea behind this game but my child has no interest in playing this app. --- requests--- can you make the game option accessible with a button on main screen? The app seems made to appeal to an adult not a child. Could you add something to it to make it more appealing to kids? Colorful backgrounds or pictures or some praise/rewards etc. Thank you.

My take-out from this is that I need to broaden the appeal of PocketPhonics. I know from other reviews that some children love it, but that’s obviously not the case for this child.

My development plan over the summer is to deliver my second app (dot-to-dot), get both apps ready to take advantage of some of the new features in the next version of the iPhone OS, and then start to make some big improvements to PocketPhonics. Having said that, the simple change to make the game more accessible with a button on the front screen should be live in the next couple of weeks.
