“Specifically: tracing with responses; should be possible with hand writing recognition. Also buttons for changing screens could be more user friendly for kids. And finally, volume control please.”

Many thanks for your kind words and suggestions.
My development plan over the summer is to deliver my second app (dot-to-dot), get both apps ready to take advantage of some of the new features in the next version of the iPhone OS, and then start to make some big improvements to PocketPhonics.
Specifically, the technology I’m developing for dot-to-dot should enable me to provide tracing with responses. I’m also planning on looking again at how to improve navigation.
On the volume control front, you should be able to use the volume control rocker switch on your iPhone or iPod touch. There was an issue with this due to how the iPhone works, but I believe I’ve overcome it. If you still have a problem with this working, please get in touch via contact us as I’ll need to try to replicate exactly what’s happening.
